What We Offer
At Maidstone Dance Studios we offer classes in various disciplines including, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Modern, Musical Theatre, Pointe, Tap and Acro. Dancers are free to take as many classes as they wish.
Classes
Exams
We follow the I.S.T.D Syllabi in Ballet, Modern and Tap classes. Although not compulsory we do encourage all pupils to take exams.
Competition Squad
For exceptionally talented and dedicated student's we hold yearly auditions for our Competition Squads. Successful students train twice weekly and learn choreography in a range of styles alongside a technical jazz session to focus on technique, flexibility and stamina. They then go onto compete at local and regional competitions throughout the year gaining fantastic results! We do ask that anyone wishing to audition for Squads must be taking a weekly Ballet class
Bi-Annual Show
We produce a large production every other year at the Hazlitt Theatre where all students of school age are invited to participate!
Open Days
All parents are welcome to see their child's progress with an open day at the end of each term (apart from show term).
